Jonathan Grahm Chocolatier Where LA Magazine Entrepreneur Best ChocolatierMy LA: Stirring It Up

At 22, chocolatier Jonathan Grahm knows there's always room for one more luscious bite. Grahm has pursued gastronomic happiness since the age of 14; at 19, he established his reputation with the creation of Love Nuts. He's since re-energized a mid-century neighborhood candy sttore, Compartes Chocolatier, where truffle flavors now include spicy chile pepper, cactus blossom, lemongrass, barley malt, peach rosemary, strawberry balsamico and roasted pine-nut. There's plenty for traditionalists, too.

With interior designer Eric B. (Eric Brun-Sanglard of A&E's Designing Blind), he's transformed the boutique space into a hip chocolate lounge. "The upscale chic matches the personality of the decorated chocolates and confections I create," Grahm says. "We also put in a window so customers can peer into my world and see the chocolate-making process."
